The Entrance Ranch is located in the scenic foothills of the Canadian Rockies near Hinton, Alberta, just 20 minutes from Jasper National Park. We offer clean, non-smoking log cabins, each with their own full kitchen facilities, so you can do your own cooking.
The ranch is in a peaceful setting within full view of the front ranges of the Rockies, near the Athabasca River. You're welcome to come stay and play. You can walk the ranch trails or hike and canoe in nearby William A. Switzer Provincial Park, with its chain of five small lakes.
The ranch is also an ideal place to be your base for forays into world famous Jasper National Park, with it's many natural wonders.
You can pitch your own tent or even set up a camper. And the hay loft in the barn is a great place for kids to sleep if they want an adventure!
The town of Hinton is only 12 minutes drive away with numerous stores and restaurants.
Come ride the trails at Entrance Ranch with your own horse!
We offer a large corral with some grass and water, or bring your own panels to set up.
We charge $10/night per horse and $25/night per camper, which you can park right beside the corral. Or rent a cabin if available.
The rides start at the ranch and go onto crown land, with many cut lines with soft ground and some rocky sections of trails, so best to shoe your horses.
The area is essentially a large bench above the Athabasca River with flats and some steep ridges with great mountain views.
